Mustansar Hussain Tarar attended college in Lahore. He holds a postgraduate degree from a college in England. He is a prolific author, having written more than 70 books. He is the highest selling author in Pakistan. Apart from two novels written in Punjabi, all his writing is in Urdu, Pakistan’s official language. Among the many honours he has received are the Pride of Performance, Sitara E Imtiaj and the President’s Award for his novel, ‘Rakh.’
