Jaswinder Dharamkot

Born in the town Dharamkot area of the Moga District, Jaswinder holds a Bachelor of Education and works as a school headmaster. While studying in school, he was drawn to reading poetry and Punjabi novels. ‘Tootan Wala Khooh’, a historical novel, made a lasting impression on him. It inspired him to author his own books. His short story, ‘Melanin’, published in 2023, was named ‘Best Story’ by the Urmila Anand Simriti Book Award.
