Aneman Singh author of Aai Lacha, ਆਈ ਲਾਚਾ, آئی لاچا - 2023 Dhahan Prize Shortlist

Mansa, Punjab, India

Aneman Singh hails from Mansa. He completed a diploma in Punjabi history and literature, as well as in Vedic studies. In 2007, his first book of short stories, ‘Galli Number Koiee Nahin’ was published. Eleven years later, ‘Noori’ was published, followed by ‘Aai Lacha’ in 2022. He has edited twelve books and translated a dozen more. He says his pen has bestowed upon him every relationship he has.
